The Tradex offices have been busy throughout the Christmas period. On the 12th December we took part in Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for Save The Children. You can see the photos on our Facebook page, but lots of members of staff joined in, adorning their festive jumpers and we have photographic evidence to prove it!
What's Happened at Tradex in 2014?
Throughout the year Tradex has held various dress down days in aid of various charities, including Sport Relief, Crohn’s and Colitis, Help for Heroes and Breast Cancer Awareness. We’ve also sponsored a taxi to take part in the Children’s Magical Taxi Tour, which allows children with life-limiting diseases to take a once in a lifetime trip to visit Disneyland Paris. The children travel to Paris via taxi and the black cab drivers give their time freely for the cause. In October Catermasters kindly donated two hampers to raffle off and the proceeds went to Help for Heroes, and the money raised from the cupcakes that Catermasters donated went to Breast Cancer Campaign. We also dressed up for Halloween and some of the costumes are seriously spooky, we’ve updated our social media pages with the photos if you want a fright.
We’ve also exhibited in various shows this year. Towards the end of April and the beginning of May we participated in the Commercial Vehicle Show in Coventry and showcased one of the unique vehicles we insure – a Trike Hearse, you can see photos of the vehicle and our team on our Facebook page. In May when we attended Mechanex in Manchester and November was also a busy month for us, where we took part in the Broker Expo.
In conclusion, it was a busy year on the social and events front. We’re looking forward to attending more events in 2015 and will update our social media accounts with company news and details of what charities we are supporting next year.
